Do I have bedbugs, short?

in Bedbug Questions

Question by Chrissy:
Do I have bedbugs, short?

I went to go to bed tonight, and there were black flecks on my sheet.
Then I went online, and found out that it is probably bed bug feces. ( glad I touched that).
I don’t think I have any bites…but everyone has a different reaction (and I usually don’t itch my sores).
If I don’t have bed bugs, then what else could it be?
Idk what else to do, or if I have them.
Help?

Strip your bed and wash your sheets or soak them in the washing machine until morning. Get a can of fly spray and spray the mattress all over, including the joins and underneath the mattress. Give it about a minute or two to settle and remake your bed and you should be fine for the night.

if you had bedbugs you ll have flea bites or similar to it.the pest thrives on blood and you see some bite sores and blood on sheets.you can look at your mattress and if there s a bunch of black specks it s infested with it,mostly on the corners.my thought it could be cockroaches ,if you have it they leave a smear of there feces.you can t wipe it off with your hand,it s in the sheet s.now black flecks ,that get s me .change out your sheets, which i know you did,and see if it happen s again .pay attention on your surrounding ,maybe it could be something in the air ,like your plants ,dog from outside ac blown dust build up.if you can wipe the black flecks check out what or whom lay s there. if in bedded look at the color dark brown to dark red might have a bug problem. call your local pest control they ll help you on that also my guess no on bedbugs.

Do a keyword search on bedbugs. There are some good websites on them.

Look in your bed’s box spring. If there are pieces of bugs, yes, good chance you have them.

But I wouldn’t spray pesticides on your matress. If you have bedbugs, you need to call an exterminator ASAP. The longer your infestation goes on, the more difficult it is to get rid of them. And they are very difficult to get rid of.

they could also be fleas, termites, etc. There are a lot of bug species in the world.

But don’t just spray random chemicals willy-nilly. That is toxic to you, and not effective against bed bugs.
