Help! I think I have bed bugs. I go to bed and then start itching. How do I get rid of them!?
I have a pillowtop bed and when I been going to bed lately I start to itch and I get these litle bumps where I scratch. Someone told me to wash my sheets and spray my bed with Lysol. What should I do!?
I dont think they are bed bugs…My bad. I dont see any bugs and those bed bugs you can see. But why do I get into my bed at night and start itching?

I think you need to call a professional if you have bedbugs. You can wash your sheets, mattress pad, blankets, etc. in hot water. Vacuum your mattress and carpets. Check out this link: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bedbugs/DS00663
Good luck.

I feel sorry for you…
Washing the sheets and spraying the bed is not going to cut it. They will just run away back into the crevices of the mattress and even to the carpet. But they are bloodsucking bugs and will eventually make it back up once the pesticide is gone to ‘eat’ again.
There are kits that are sold to help get rid of them. You’ll have to wrap the mattress and the box spring up, shampoo the carpet and wash everything, including all your clothing, because they hide there too…
This will probably make your skin crawl but check out the sites below for answers to your questions.
Throw your mattress away and buy a new one. Then change your bedsheets every week. This will make your bed (and room) smells nicer and say bye to bed bugs. You can spray your bed with strong antiseptics occassionally too.
I would wash everything around you, all the sheets, pillows cases, etc. and vacuum your mattress..yes vacuum. That is the only way of getting rid of the things you can’t see.
If that doesn’t help, time for new mattress and pillows.
Also, is it just when you get into bed, maybe a allergic reaction to a laundry detergent?
