Wash all bedding, expose the mattress and then Flea bomb your room with all plants and pets removed from the room.

you might want to get rid of your mattress… they are a little hard to eliminate there because they burrow deep in. but you can try to have the mattress cleaned (some carpet cleaning places do mattresses too, with steaming hot water and cleansers) and then just make sure you buy a cover for the mattress and spray the mattress with lysol every so often.
THAT’S A TOUGH JOB. YOU HAVE TO BASCIALLY THROW AWAY EVERYTHING AND THEN USE A PEST BOMB TO KILL THE ONES THAT ARE LEFT. THE LARVE WILL SURVIVE IN YOUR MATTRESS AND LINNEN SO YOU PRETTY MUSCH HAVE TO CHUCK THEM ALL. MY BROTHER IN LAW WENT THROUGH THIS LAST YEAR, TH EOLD SHUT-IN MAN NEXT DOOR WAS A SLOB AND INFESTED THE WHOLE BUILDING. GOOD LUCK
It depends on your definition of cheap. The most effective way is to hire an exterminator to come treat the entire house. Bedbugs don’t just live in the bed, they live in carpets and cracks in the walls as well as the mattress and box springs. You can spend a fortune on do-it-yourself methods, and old remedies, and when you get tired of being bitten you will still end up calling the exterminator. So it’s cheaper to simply pick up the phone and hire a contract killer to do the job quickly and efficiently from the start.
