how do you get rid of bed bugs?
i am freaking out! i saw on on the sofa and bit me several times. i am afraid that they will go into my bed too. i am renting. does the rental office pay for the exterminators or not? they do monthly pest controls but i dont know if they would treat the bed bugs as well.. what do you think? help please

renting what man???? go to home depot or walmart buy a bug spray about 5 bucks and leave your windows open it does it automatically so stay away from the house for about 3 hours

spray lysol on your bed works every time
I have been battling bed bugs ever since my ex-roommate brought them in over a year ago. They are horrible to try and get rid of. I have tried the $ 7 bug bomb/fogger crap and other spray pesticides that say they get rid of the bugs. Problem is…they don’t kill the eggs. I had a professional exterminator come out and quote me on doing an extermination. If you have to pay, it is about $ 1000-$ 2800 depending on the treatment you want. Since you are renting the landlord should pay, but traditional monthly pest controls do not work on bed bugs. They require intense heat or intense cold to penetrate the eggs. My next step is to check out and use some of the products on these two websites.

Hopefully something will get rid of them because I don’t have that kind of money to spend. I would just leave my house and let them starve but they will just become dormant for a year when their food source is gone.
