They burrow into your skin and enter your stomach, induce vomiting and if you get all these little insects alive in your vomit, you probably have bed bugs.

Bed bugs are rarely transferred. No need to worry,

But what you should know is that ALL beds have MITES on them. Very small microscopic creatures that live on the bed sheets and which feed off dead skin cells. Yes, ALL beds do. Which is why it’s important to change your bedsheets regularly.

I change mine once a week.

Bed bugs ARE easily transferred. After being in an infested area, remove all clothing and other items and place in a tightly sealed bad or container. Wash anything you can in hot water and dry on high heat. Look into Green Clean dissolvable bags, that way you don’t have to worry about any bugs escaping when you remove laundry from bags. Anything that cannot be washed should be thoroughly inspected and can be treated with an approved spray (Sterifab, JT Eaton’s luggage spray, Bedlam, to name a few).
