I don’t think bed bugs are very easy to get rid of. You need to have your entire home professional exterminated. If that doesn’t work you may need to throw out and replace.

oh no they r really hard to get rid of. You have to phone in pest control. They live in wood. so u need to source them clean all fabrics to 95 degrees. They spread really fast so get pest control in and you will need several treatments. try and catch one in a jar to show them. Is you bed wood? check around the headboard.

How do you know they are bed bugs? You can not see them. Maybe they are fleas???
Totally strip bed and wash in VERY HOT water. Vacuum the bed and dispose of bag contents.
Spray bed and surrounding areas with a domestic pesticide containing:
Baygon and Malathion, or Diazinon, or Sevin, or Pyrethum.
Or, get a new mattress.

don’t even think about trying to treat bed bugs your self
there very difficult even for PCO’s
you need to know where to treat…how to treat and what chemical to use …added to the fact that they are becoming immune to many chemicals
your pest control operator will need to treat the problem at least two time 10 to 14 days apart and he should use a wettable or flowable powder formulation for best results

to find and identify them look for the regurgitate blood stains on or around your bed

there 4 to 5mm long…reddish brown…wingless and oval shaped

I just read the other answers……do not buy a new matress untill you gat rid of the problem because you will get them in the new matress in no time……they don’t just nest in the matress alone
