Question by cute_sata:
can the rental office handle bedbugs?

i live in a apartment building, and i have bedbugs. should i inform the rental office so they could do something about the bugs. i don’t think i should take my own money to try to get rid of the bedbugs! i don’t have that much, i am simply a student trying to get by, i can barely afford books for my classes not to talk about getting a pest control company to fix the problem! i just know it will cost me greatly. my parents just wont listen blaming me for the problem, saying if i was not so messy i wouldn’t have this problem blah blah blah (but what do they know, everybody knows you can never trust parents :), all the same i know they wont help! i know right unbelievable!! instead of them actually helping there poor daughter with those blood sucking little vampires they set blames.

but anyways cant the rental office handle these kind of problems. i mean they handle roaches, i don’t see why they cent do anything about bedbugs?
shouldn’t they take responsibility for this

They’re responsible for handling anything of their fault or fault of their premises.

They will look at the problem (per – hiring a professional terminator to make final determinations) and investigate if the problem is of their building or the tenant. If the tenant is found responsible, you will be held to pay all costs. If not, the landlord will pay for everything.
So it is in your best interest to get your landlord involved immediately.

Talk to the rental office. If you have them then everyone has them. Bedbugs are rotten little beasts. Very hard to get rid of.

Bedbugs are not caused by being messy. They are just as happy in clean apartments as messy ones.
