Question by Myalin’s Mommy:
serious questions about bedbugs!!!?

i had been wondering why i was waking up with little bites all over me. they didnt look like normal bites or like flea bites (like everyone insisted).then i noticed the were on my infant daughter too, and they didnt get there until she slept with me in my bed the last few nights. well, i tried to tell my husband that i think we have bedbugs and he told me i was just being paranoid. i told him, well, he works nights so OF COURSE he doesnt have any bites on him since the come out at NIGHT. stubborn, and true to his nature, he still would take me seriously. weird thing is right before i fell asleep, a show on animal planet came on called “INFESTED!” and i saw the bit about bedbugs. the bites looked the same and everything! determined, i tried to sleep as light as i could, and what happened? i found one of the little b*st*rds crawling on my effing hand! OMG! im soooo freaked out right now! they’ve been eating me for dinner and my daughter as a snack!

now my question is, if we show the landlord, is he obligated to call an exterminator? we had never had bedbugs before we moved into this place and we’ve only been here 2 1/2 weeks. what do i do? im too afraid to go back to sleep right now! 🙁

Yes he is obligated to call an exterminator, go tell him right now what is happening, atm try cleaning up and get some pesticides or bug killer and make sure those bugs doesn’t touch you and your infant again it could cause some sickness…

What do you think? Answer below.

Could you change to sleep in another room first then next day you need to boil all of your bed sheet, pillows case, blankets.. and tell your landlord. They have to response.

Your landlord will ABSOLUTELY be obligated to call an exterminator! Clearly the bedbugs were in your home before your family was! Fortunately, bedbugs really are not harmful, although they are gross, there’s no evidence to support that they can harm you or your family. Next time you find one, put it in a jar and call your landlord asap! Also look around your sheets and pillow cases (if they are light colored) because bedbugs have a tendency of leaving behind little marks, i mean little little TINY spots that are kind of a darkish brown circular mark.

The worst thing about bedbugs is they spread fast! Nasty boogers, they can get into your walls, carpet, furniture and anything really! But if an exterminater comes than obviously it will be taken care of! But thoroughly wash all of your sheets and clothing! Vacuum and clean your house very well. (Pain in the a**, i know!) They also have this spray that you can keep around, i’m sorry i forget what it’s called but i’m sure if you went to a department store or something they’d have some things just to keep them away!

Good luck!
