Cold temperature can kill them but only if they are exposed to them long enough and if its cold enough. wash effected bedding in hot water 99oF. if its cold where you live (0DegreeF), if there are effected furniture put it outside for a day of two to kill of the bed bugs IF ITS LIKE 20degreeFfor like 4-5 days.. Take down pictures and posters and anything hanging on your wall .

Letting cold air in thru windows will not kill these bugs.
The exterminator should come back for repeated visits until all signs of the bugs are gone.
Washing washables with hot water and/or running them in a hot dryer can kill the bugs.
Arbico Organics has a couple of products, safer than some others for killing bedbugs.

If you followed all the instructions, exactly, that the exterminator left for you, he will return until they are gone.

If you didn’t, you’ll just get them back over and over until you do.

No

You need a professional exterminator and one that will guarantee results.
