Do bedbugs only attack at night?

Whenever I’m in bed, I feel constant pinching in random parts of my body. It’s been going on for a while and there are never any bite marks. Also, when I touch the area that is “pinching,” there is nothing there – not even a swollen mark. What’s going on? I
