Question by chrisrg93:
Bedbugs infestation. Where do?

I’m not sure if I got bedbugs in my home when I wenting skiing, we rented a home for a weekend and I really don’t think it had bedbugs because it was a mansion but who knows. My parents don’t want to call an exterminator and they want to treat it but lately anything hasn’t worked. I don’t know if we should call or treat. Where do they come from? So do we need an exterminator about how much will they charge. We have a home with about 4 rooms and a full basement and middle floor.

Don’t panic!!

This article tells you everything about bed bugs. Don’t throw out your mattress. Any home can get bedbugs. They are becoming more and more common in hotels, even the best ones. You might have picked them up in your mansion.

Pick up all clutter in the room. Pull the bed away from the wall and make sure the bed clothes don’t touch the floor. Look in cracks and crevices and see if you can find one. Compare it to the bug in the article. You can even put the bed legs in containers of mineral oil. Sounds like battling army ants in Africa, doesn’t it.

A good exterminator will give you an estimate and be able to identify the bug for you.

This article has many warnings about using and misusing insecticides. Please read it all.
