Question by lytlnoodl:
How often are you supposed to change your pillows on your bed?

I’ve heard that you should change the pillows on your bed, every so often, and was wondering how often?? And is the whole vacuuming the mattress for the “bedbugs” rings true?

rule of thumb…..As soon as it begins to smell like you…Have a friend smell your pillow…See if it smells like you….
NOTE: only outside friends not living with you can determined that….Otherwise. once a year. as per label tag suggestions

Your supposed to change the pillows once a year and change the sheets and pillow cases once a week. You can wash them and put them back on the bed. Your supposed to change the pillows because eventually the whole pillow will be dust mites.

Yes it’s true about vacuuming the mattress, pillows etc.
To keep my pillows fresh,I put them in a hot dryer for 30 minutes once every couple weeks.and then spray with Febreeze Allergen.
I only buy new ones every couple yrs.and always buy pillow protectors for them and use a mattress cover.
I have allergies and this does work for me.Was suggested by my specialist. That way you can wash the covers every other time you wash your bedding.
Great for keeping the bedbugs and dust mites away.
