Question by Lilgirl:
Can Electricity Kill BedBugs?

Such as those “zappers” (that are shaped like tennis racquet’s) that kill mosquito’s in the air? Can something like that be applied to the crawling, little vampires, to do away with them?

Not sure that they are attracted to the light as flying insects are. I would think not..
Fumigate the room, Completely seal in the mattress don’t just cover it. put sticky traps around and use boric acid powder that you can find in a lot of the dollar stores.
Don’t put insecticide where you lay or around your pillows ect..

The current will kill them yes…but they’re so small, the racket wouldn’t be very effective. You’d have to use something akin to an electrified tin-foil blanket which would cover the entire bed.

HEAT is the key – put things in the dryer on medium (130 degrees or so). Turn on heat in house in warm weather and put space heaters in rooms with doors closed.
