Can anyone tell me if I have bed bugs?
The only reason why I think this is because for the past week, everytime I’ve gone to lay down on my bed, I’m suddenly consumed by itchiness, and when I wake up I have welts and hives all over my body. I sometimes think that I feel them on me during the night. I haven’t seen any evidence of bed bugs and I don’t know how I could have contracted them. My mom thinks that this is all in my head, which could easily be the case. I just wanted to get someone else’s opinion.

well make sure you look in the crack and crevices on your matrices. they like to live in small places.

Yes you probably do, or you have a rash of some sort.
I recommend you clean your bed sheets once a week and Clean your whole bed frame with anti-bacterial spray.

If you’re waking up with bite-marks on your skin that you didn’t have before, there is a very good chance you have bed bugs.
They only surface in the dark, but sometimes you can see them if you flip the light switch on and look very quickly before they escape. Try sleeping with a flashlight nearby, and make sure your sheets are a light colour so that you can easily see them when you switch the light on.
If you’re the only one who’s affected, it’s possible you got them from a friend, a gym, etc., and it’s only a matter of time before the rest of your home becomes infested.
