Question by Rebecca~:
Can bed bugs spread through clothes or car seats? Plz read?

I am extremely paranoid of the bed bug epidemic going around. We don’t have many travellers/guests in our house and it’s just me, my mom, and my dad. However, my mom’s job involves working with underprivileged clients and a couple of them have bed bugs. She goes into their homes very rarely, but she transports them in her car that has leather seats. I’m just wondering if bed bugs could transfer onto her clothes or car?

Yes it’s possible, but don’t be so paranoid.

If you are such an ignoramus and actually believe such a thing as a “bed bug epidemic” then please, go play in traffic. Bed bugs CAN NOT hurt anyone. All they do is eat your dead skin that falls off naturally from everyone. Again, they CAN NOT hurt you, and all you gotta do is wash the sheets and pillow cases. Oh, and guess what? You have bed bugs too. They don’t just live on “underprivileged” people. They are everywhere and you can NEVER EVER truly get rid of them.

It’s possible, but they prefer to be in a tight situation, like in the folds of a mattress, and they only come out a night to chew and suck your blood. They don’t eat very much….

Bd bugs can be infesting. They will cling to clothing and other articles that humans bring around, once ingrained, they’re there to stay. They eat blood, not dead flesh as one stated, they bite and create a rash. If bad enough they can keep you awake all night itching. Your mom should be careful where she lies her coat, her purse, etc when visiting these people. That’s about all she can do and, keep her eyes open.

Just be careful, if anything.
