According to this…

Control of bed bugs can be difficult.especially in homes that have many cracks and crevices, loose wallpaper, etc. Three actions need to be considered for quick relief and control….
1.) A good vacuum cleaning
2.) Use a space spray(bug bomb) to penetrate an infested area.
3.)After space spraying, use a light application of an approved aerosol spray on mattresses, stuffed chairs, clothes, etc., to kill surviving bed bugs.
Air everything out afterwords…
A fresh paint job and caulking to seal the cracks
might help, too.
Or call a better exterminator…

Vacuum your bed and carpeting under bed on a weekly basis, wash your bedding, pillows and throw rugs weekly, use the sprays in all cracks and crevices, and make your bed every morning, moisture is a difficult place for them to survive, so get a humidifier and leave it on.

I forgot to add, take your baths at night instead of the morning to help remove any dead skin cells that may be falling off as you sleep at night.. which makes a great meal for bed bugs.
