And the little bugs were spreading to other apartments. The exterminator was spraying one apartment at a time with a week in-between.
There are people who could have a violent reaction–very few, but there are–and they could go into anaphylactic shock and possible die from a reaction. (There are a lot of handicapped and elderly people where I live).

leave your apartment right away and report them to the Public Health Department or just to the city. they will take the next necessary steps to getting everything in order.

That is shoddy! All the bugs would have to do is shuttle from one apartment to the next.
Now, bed bugs are very difficult to eradicate, without replacing the beds altogether and scrubbing the apartments thoroughly.
If the apartment manager knows what’s going on but doesn’t care, by all means talk to the local housing authority.
i honestly find out who i could report this to and see what could be done. i would also make her pay any medical bills incured from this.
