Trust me, it is sooo difficult to get rid of bed bugs.
I’ve never had them in my home, but I know many people who have had/still have them. one family I know, moved out and threw out all their furniture because of them. the rest still live with the bugs, and get bitten every night.

That’s tough. Short of setting fire to your house you really need professional help over several months. Repeated spraying by the pros is the only way to reduce the problem. I know of no organic method that works.

Insecticides are not an option to get rid of bed bugs, because insecticides should never be applied to an area where you sleep. Sticky traps, like those used for mice, are a good way to capture rogue bed bugs that have managed to escape your domestic exorcism. f you’ve positively identified your problem as a bed bug infestation, it is time to sanitize the affected areas. If you can spare money for another mattress it would be a good idea to throw your old one out. Blood stains and dark spots on bedding from fecal matter are a sure sign of a bed bug infestation.Bed bugs tend to be found in dwellings that are frequently used.Preventing an infestation is the best form of bed bug control. If you think you’re being bitten (usually identified by rows of welts that appear during the night) it’s best to do a sweep of your home for these pests

Besides replacing everything, I heard a way to do it was to seal the mattress in a plastic mattress bag, making it airtight to deprive the buggers of air and food source. But I think they can lay dormant for a year or so without food still? As for the crib and other furniture, they can hide in the tiniest of crevices. If the crib itself is free of bugs, then what has been recommended is to sit the legs in a shallow bowl of oil to prevent any from crawling up the leg posts. Bed bugs can hide anywhere, inside floor boards, crevices and even behind electrical outlets.

Ok. I’ll tell you what I do.
It’s not organic, though.
Circle the legs of the crib where the legs touch the floor with bug killer powder.
I make an island out of my bed that way.
Bed bugs can’t jump or fly. – They have to cross the bug killer powder to get to a leg of the crib.
It works for me.
