I have recently discovered that i have bed bugs. I want to move, and i wanna know what is safe t take with me?
This all just hit me very quickly. I have decided to move and while having friends over, they pointed out that we had bed bugs. Well i am planning to move and i have a couple questions. 1) What is safe to take with me? (pictures, clothes, dressers, etc.) 2) I have a dog. Can bed bugs travel through her fur? 3) Electronics. Can bed bugs travel in electronics? Thank you for all your help.

no not in electronics. clean clothes and dog then separate them from anything contaminated. clean yourself as well. if you are that paranoid, leave small items out in the sun for the day that wont get damaged. the heat will drive anything away or kill it. are you itching? if not just do what i say and you should be ok. they are bed bugs, not electronic, dog, or picture bugs. oh yea…destroy your mattress in a fire, videotape it, youtube it, and profit.

you can bring bed bugs with you, I watched a tv documentary a while back where a girl had stayed in an infested hotel and brought the nasty buggars home with her, lo’ and behold a short while later she had her very own bed bug slumber party. http://www.medicinenet.com/bed_bugs/article.html
There’s a site you can reference if you like, i googled it and just gave it a quick once over, seems like a good source.
sorry to tell you that every mattress has bed bugs. It is scientific fact. it is sort of like how your eyelashes have spiders. that is just the way it is and there isn’t really anything you can do about it. If you have the money you could buy a new mattress because there are MORE bedbugs in the older ones, but it is only a temporary fix.
