Are bed bugs caused by uncleanliness?
I recently viewed a bit of a news report on bed bugs in hotel beds. I was grossed out! Where do these things come from…I don’t think I’ll ever look at a hotel bed the same again?

It is caused by the shedding of skin cells.

well yea and no i guess.n e type of bugs in a living facility is caused by that and/or and infestation of them.bed bugs i have no idea what they r but i guess they are caused by that.
not realy they travel like fleas on people and clothing so they are easily transferred and they are real hard to get rid of so once you got them you have to do a whole lot to get rid of them
Yes they sort of are! I know what you mean about hotel’s…I used to not give it a thought, as long as it seemed clean, but gosh some of this reports on TV, 20/20, 60 minutes etc…is enough to make you not want to travel! My hubby though I was “nuts” when I told him we needed to buy a small camper to take on driving trips with us! Of coarse, I like my coffee in the morning, etc….but part of the reason is exactly for the reason you question! I know who has slept on our camper beds!!!!

gross I always use glade garbage bags to block them and bring my own blanket and sheets and bag the pillows and then put pillow cases on them
I always get bit I now am noticing my son gets bit up too my husband and another son thinks were crazy till they see the bit marks then they feel sorry for us I hate hotels just invested in Fairfild resorts in Las Vegas before doing it stayed at one of their hotels and the had the barriers on all the beds and the same price as a normal hotels that won my business.
however i have the barriers on my own beds they bit alot in the spring if you put plastic on the bed if there in the matteress then the bugs will die after a yr they can live a yr without feeding off a human so leave it on as long as you can I do take it off if I have guest but then there cells go in the bed and I cover it up again So personaly I keep the plastic on.
you do not get bed bugs by being dirty. they are transported by someone or something to your home.
they are BIG I saw them on a segment on the Today show.I always thought bed bugs were microscopic.I’m scared to go to hotels if thats what might be lurking in those beds.
A friend told me that when you stay in a hotel you should pull down the sheets and if you see blood spots on the mattress high tail it outta there!
