No, not at all. Bed bugs do NOT stay in the linens or clothes, they burrow deep into the wood of your walls and bed frame. They’re VERY hard to kill.

What do you think? Answer below.

I would, the are getting as bad as lice. Take the clothing and put it in a plastic trash bag for a week or two tie it up. Any Bugs would have died and would be at the bottom of the bag

They don’t really “burrow”, they just hide in cracks and such. It’s possible she had some hiding in her clothes. I had some in an apt I lived in a couple of years ago. They were my reward for buying a used recliner at the Salvation Army. Those suckers hid EVERYWHERE. I found them in laundry, in the case I used to store my 3.5 inch floppys, etc.

And they are hard as hell to get rid of. I tried everything, I actually ended up having to spray myself everynight with mosquito repellant before I went to bed. I starved the little suckers out. I also moved my bed away from any walls or stands, etc, and put a layer or vasoline around the legs of my bed. You see they crawl, slowly, and when they tried to crawl up the legs to get to me, they got stuck. Simple but genious.

If I were you I wouldn’t worry until I knew for sure I had them. I think the odds are low you got them, they’re pretty slow and they don’t like the light.

God, I hate bedbugs. *shivers*
