my kids apartment has bed bugs and the manager is hiring someone to apply something to bed and spray apartment?
they are billing them for the treatment, how do we know that the bugs werent there before they moved in? Im worried about what they are putting on there beds too this is california what can they do? help

There is no way to prove if bed bugs were there prior to moving in. All they do is going in and look for the bed bugs and freeze them. Then they will do a follow up to make sure they are gone, and give any recommendations if needed. Hopefully their beds or furniture did not come from the trash. They will have to get rid of them if so.

In the huge majority of situations, bedbugs are unwittingly brought in by the tenants and/or their guests. This is why they are being billed. What do you want them to do ? The choices are to treat the premises for the bedbugs or to live happily WITH the bedbugs. Got any better ideas ?
