Did you happen to ask your priest that?
Ask him, he knows more about God & His work than us. I’m sure it’s in the Bible somewhere.

This means that anytime there is a niche that can be filled, it WILL be filled.
Well, from their standpoint, we aren’t so great, either! We’re all part of the natural cycle – one thing helps another survive, and frankly if people keep tearing down spider webs, we’ll all be eaten alive by mosquitoes.
All part of the food chain- nature
