Bedbugs were probably an unavoidable fact of life.
It was a sheep barn. Bedbugs weren’t the danger, but animal feces and insects probably were.
From what little we know about them, both Mary and Joseph were wise and caring parents. I’m sure they checked for poop and roaches before they put Him in the manger.
I’m pretty sure that manger wasn’t in New York, so probably didn’t need to.
No, that’s how Jesus got his powers, he was bitten by a radioactive bed bug.
He probably cursed them in baby talk and they withered before his eyes.
